Business Development Manager

Jumbosound Recordz is looking for dynamic Business Development Manager to take over a mix of existing accounts and new sales territory. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.

The Business Development Manager will be in charge of analyzing and designing marketing strategies, execution of the same and will also be in charge of the sales team. This position reports to the C.E.O.

Your responsibilities will include:

    1. Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

    2. Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

    3. Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities

    4. Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones

    5. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales

    6. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

    7. Developing quotes and proposals for clients

    8. Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met

    9. Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

    10. Provide updates on sales to Senior Management

Promotional prospects are excellent - progression can be into senior management roles.

    Prior experience in a marketing managerial position or any other demonstrable experience is required.

    1. A fast learner with an ability to communicate eloquently with clients

    2. Ability to work effectively as a team player with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization

    3. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

    4. Must be willing to travel within the country

This is a commission based position with a possibility of being salaried based on performance.

    Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field

    1. Experience in sales, marketing or related field

    2. Strong communication skills and IT fluency

    3. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task

    4. Excellent organizational skills

    5. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty

    6. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    7. Comfortable using a computer for various tasks

Sales Executives - Various locations

Jumbosound Recordz is looking for dynamic Sales & Marketing Executives to be part of our growing sales force for our audio-visual, publishing and distribution services.

Sales executives are the key point of contact between our firm and our clients: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new service offerings.

Their responsibilities will include:

    1. Providing day-to-day hands on sales execution, including marketing requirements

    2. Developing and maintain a Sales Pipeline, including pursuing sales leads and prospective clients within our CRM

    3. Building key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals

    4. Managing pre-sales activities through service demonstrations, advising on bid preparation, support with service pricing and realization of business plan targets

    5. Delivering client presentations and proposals, and negotiate and close business deals.

    6. Managing follow-up customer training and service implementation

    7. Reviewing sales performance

    8. Negotiating contracts and packages

    9. Aiming to achieve monthly or annual targets

    10. Providing updates on sales leads to Senior Management

    11. Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings

Promotional prospects are excellent - progression can be into senior sales roles or into related employment areas such as marketing or management

    Prior experience in sales is desirable, but not required.

Artists & repertoires

We are looking for artists & Repertoires to manage all aspects of our talent identification and development.

The A & R will be responsible for talent scouting and the artistic and commercial development of the recording artists assigned to them. The A & R will also act as a liaison between the artist and the record label.

Ultimately, you will double up as an artist manager for the assigned artists.

The A & R responsibilities are wide spectrumed. You will need to be well acquainted with the local and international music industry.

Your responsibilities will include:

    1. Finding talent

    2. Overseeing the recording process

    3. Assisting with marketing and promotion

Promotional prospects are excellent - progression can be into senior management roles based on performance.

Experience working in A & R is a plus.

    High school but degree is desirable, but not required.

    2. Must be a people person with an ability to close high level client deals

    3. Must be willing and able to travel to assigned locations
